Tribal Domestic Violence Courts and Dockets TLPI is the lead technical assistance provider for tribes establishing domestic violence courts or dockets To provide training/technical assistance and resources to assist the development of tribal domestic violence courts or dockets. To create a resource guide for tribes interested in developing a domestic violence court or docket. To hold webinars and develop resources that will promote the implementation of tribal domestic violence courts or dockets. OVW Tribal TA Outreach Initiative Goal is strengthen tribes’ capacity to address violence against women. We will provide training and resources for tribes, Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Coalitions to help build capacity, develop and provide topical training/written resources, and victim centered services. Sex Trafficking Resource Sex Trafficking in Indian Country: Victim/Survivor Resource Book – this resource book is intended to provide Tribal Coalitions and tribal advocates with basic information on sex trafficking as it impacts Native people and to provide access to direct services that may assist victims/survivors of sex trafficking. This resource contains a 900+ page victim /survivor services directory that is organized by state. Only the states with a Tribal Coalition are represented in this directory. www.tribaltrafficking.org

Intertribal Technical Assistance Work Group (ITWG) The DOJ launched the Intertribal Working Group (ITWG) on VAWA special domestic violence criminal jurisdiction (SDVCJ) as a key part of the Pilot Project. It is a voluntary working group of tribal representatives who exchange views, information, and advice about how tribes may best exercise SDVCJ and combat domestic violence. Currently over 47 tribes are represented.
