  6.  Glenelle Bruneske Has been a member of NAME for the last 6 years and a member of the Education and Research Committee for the last 5 years. Executive Account Manager for Go Solutions Group Inc-a Presenters’ national Medicaid Billing and Consulting Software Company for the last 10 years. Bios Manages district Medicaid reimbursements for contracted districts in Arizona, Nevada & New Mexico. Prior to this position, worked at a large school district in Arizona for 13 years serving as a Medicaid Administrator as well as in other district capacities 6

  7.  Denise Achin (RI) Has been an active member of NAME since 2004 and is a Past President (2011) and past Region 1 Representative on the Board of Directors and has been active on the following Communications NAME committees: Executive, Education and Research, Committee Communications, Conference, and Policy and Procedures. Denise has over 20 years experience at the state level overseeing and providing technical assistance to LEAs in Rhode Island on Medicaid reimbursement for school-based services. 7

  8.  Jane Reagan (MI) Jane is a charter member of NAME, is a Past President and is currently the Co-Chair of the Communications Committee. Jane has been an employee of the State of Michigan since 1981, and since July 2002 has served as Department Specialist with the Department of Education in the Office of Special Education (OSE) where she works closely with the Michigan Medicaid agency assisting Michigan public schools receive Medicaid reimbursement for some of Communications the health and outreach services they deliver daily. Previous to her current position, Ms. Reagan spent 21 years with the Committee Michigan Department of Community Health, where she worked in the Policy and Legal Affairs Administration for three years and at the Michigan Medicaid agency for 18 of those 21 years. In Michigan, all 56 Intermediate School Districts (ISDs) participate in the Medicaid School Based Services program. Ms. Reagan began her career by spending eight years practicing as a clinical dental hygienist. She holds an Associate degree in dental hygiene from Ferris State University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Michigan State University, and a Master of Public Administration degree from Western Michigan University. 8

  9.  Sheila Costa (NY) Serves on the NAME Board as the Region 1 Representative and is currently the NAME Membership Chair. She also serves on the 2014 Conference Committee as the Sponsorship Sub- committee Chair. She is a Education Finance Specialist in the STAC, Special Aids and Medicaid Unit in the New York State Education Department. In this capacity, Sheila is responsible for providing Membership Medicaid training for Western New York, the Greater Southern Tier and New York City as well as providing technical assistance Committee to regional school districts and counties. Prior to this position, Sheila worked for the New York State Office of Children and Family Services for the Bureau of Waiver Management on the Bridges to Health (B2H) Medicaid Waiver Program and in Regional Operations. Sheila is the past president of Hudson Business and Professional Women’s organization and a former executive board member and participant of Leadership Columbia County. 9

  10.  Jeremy Ford (CA) In 2009 he became a member of NAME attending the conference in San Diego. The next year he became the Web Committee Co-Chair and a NAME leadership team member. Web Jeremy has over 8 years of experience in school based Committee Medicaid reimbursement, for the last 5 years he has worked for Oakland Unified School District. Jeremy also serves as a member on the statewide LEA Medi-Cal Billing Option AD Hoc meeting with the Department of Health Care Services. 10

  11.  Cathy Bennett-Reames (CA) Serves on the NAME Board as the Region 3 LEA Representative and is the Co-Chair of the Web Committee. Has been a member of NAME for nine years. Cathy is the Medi-Cal Reimbursement Coordinator for the Web Sacramento City Unified School District and serves as the Co-Chair on the statewide LEA Medi-Cal Billing Option Committee AD Hoc meeting with the Department of Health Care Services. Prior to her 14 years involved in school base services, Cathy worked for a major health insurance company in which she developed and trained on procedures for managed care and claims processing. 11

  12.  NAME stands for the N ational A lliance for M edicaid in E ducation, Inc.  Established in 2003 What is NAME  Created in response to a need for a national forum to address the complexities and challenges of Medicaid reimbursement programs in school settings  Draws on the expertise of highly informed and specialized sources from around the country at Federal, State and Local levels, as well as the private sector Speaker: Denise Achin  Is a clearinghouse for information. Helps members choose the best directions in difficult-to-navigate waters by providing networking opportunities and information 12

  13.  NAME is a non-profit organization, registered as 501(c) (3) with the federal IRS. A Brief Portrait  NAME is a professional network of mostly volunteers of NAME who co-create educational opportunities, share valuable and pertinent information and promote networking with those involved with Medicaid in Education.  NAME is the only organization of its kind. NAME collaborates with key Federal agencies: the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), and other partners and stakeholders, to develop and support public policies that Speaker: value children's health and recognize it as essential to Denise Achin learning. 13
