Innovation is… Coming up with an idea, concept, or artifact that you have either a strong desire to learn more about, are passionate about, or have an authentic interest in exploring and thinking about it in a new and personalized way. Drawing with Light: . A Light Painting Photography Project
Innovation includes… 1. An element of research and design , so the innovation is academically grounded and the innovator can speak authoritatively about the topic. 2. Something original . Could be an original interpretation or a newly created object. The original element does not have to be physical. It could be a new way of solving an existing problem or a new way of thinking about something old. Collaboration and sharing . Innovation 3. does not exist in isolation. 4. An openness to failure , change, and redesign. 5. A presentation piece to disseminate the knowledge.
