2016 CERT Picnic • Saturday, August 13th, 2016 (rain or shine), at 3:00 pm at Anne Culver’s House. • If you are planning to attend or wish to help out with the event, please RSVP to Potluck@MontgomeryCERT.org on what you intend to bring for the event. • Register in CERVIS with number of guests attending.

Taking a Report from a Civilian • WHO: Who are you? (ID your self and team) Who are they? Name (Note gender/approximate age) • WHAT: What is the specific nature of the emergency/ request? • WHERE: Exactly where are you? Where are they? For lost person where LAST seen? • WHEN: When did contact occur? Lost person: Last seen where and when? Medical: Onset of symptoms, time of injury.

Lost Person • Who is reporting? Relationship? • Describe missing person: Name, age, gender, race, height/ weight/build, clothing color/style/hat etc, hair color/eye color. • Special Considerations: Medical or Behavioral? • Last seen WHEN AND WHERE (how long missing). • Actions taken prior to contact with CERT Call, search, etc. • Cell Phone Number? • Relevant history.

CERT SKILLS utilization Ken Ow- Assisted a friend at church with treatment for bee sting reaction • and other issues, and called 911 and assisted him to and at the hospital. Trish Laut- Attended and stayed with accident victim until ambulance • arrived. Did anyone else use their CERT Skills this month? •
