What is CERT? When emergencies happen, CERT members can • provide critical support to first responders, • offer immediate assistance to victims, and • organize spontaneous volunteers at a disaster site Des Moines County CERT 2015-2016 Award Dinner and Annual Meeting
How Might CERT Be Used? During a disaster or emergency, CERT skills will initially be used for personal and family response. CERT skills can then be used to assist in your neighborhoods before responders arrive. Des Moines County CERT 2015-2016 Award Dinner and Annual Meeting
How Might CERT Be Used? Following the arrival of emergency responders, CERT-trained individuals may support responder efforts or assist with necessary non-responder emergency response efforts.
