Milton Terrace 2016-17 School Community Goals  Milton Terrace Social Media Presence  Continued use of grade level and department Twitter accounts to share academic-related information with parents and the community  PBIS  PBIS/Character Ed committees streamline language for monthly full school assemblies from Mindsets in the Classroom summer read text  Continue to strengthen PBIS Tier 2 program  24 students check in and out each morning and afternoon with an assigned mentor  Monthly team meetings with mentor, team, and parents to review behavioral progress

Milton Terrace 2016-17 Global Community Goals  “The Community Service” School  Co-grade level service learning projects continued  Collaborative, focused service learning projects for shared grades  K & 5th Grade- Franklin Community Center  1 st and 3 rd grade- Alex’s Lemonade Stand/ EOC Food Drives  2 nd and 4 th Grade- Little Libraries  Continued school-wide projects and staff projects  Parsons School-Based Mental Health Clinic  Proud host school for 4 th year of district-wide initiative supporting students and families

Milton Terrace 2016-17 Global Community Goals, continued  Implement Food Backpack program in collaboration with local partners to serve our socio-economically disadvantaged students and families  Place Little Libraries in our Milton Terrace neighborhoods to offer greater access to literacy materials in the community
