  7. Try Outs Try-outs are a great way to keep our teams competitive and allow us the opportunity to evaluate players in different scenarios. While we would like to keep everyone, it is not always possible with limited resources and coaches. We will hold a separate try-out to be fair and impartial to the Basketball/Soccer players still in season. Depending on Basketball playoffs, the players tryout could be during the season in a Varsity or JV match (we use a rubric scoring system from 1 to 5 day 2 and 3)  Coaching staff together will speak to players that do not make either team individually and privately at players discretion on last day of tryouts  The four pillars of soccer are used as part of the tryout process. Technical, tactical, physical and psychosocial are evaluated.  Players are also evaluated in a timed multi-run event and 1v1 ability  Players who do not have a permit by first day of try-outs will be at a disadvantage due to losing time to be seen and could risk making any team regardless of previous experience or classification.  JV Players can be moved to Varsity at ANY time and Varsity players can be moved based on team needs and consistency of play (life lesson applied is earning something doesn’t mean it's guaranteed moving forward without effort  Day 1: Gauntlet Day 2: small sided games and individual technical assessment, 1v1 scenarios and with keepers. Day 3: Match evals

  14. Team Dinners All Senior mom’s are encouraged to form a group to plan for and schedule team dinners and events Events can be coordinated with Head Coach. Parents of all players involved are encouraged to attend and participate, but would like senior mom’s to decide on two who will be primary POCs. The overwhelming support of parents to provide for the players has been extremely appreciated by the players to provide a time to commune together outside of the practice field. We the coaching staff and players are extremely grateful for the time commitment and sacrifice that is made for the team.
