Ways to Get Creative
Notation Ideas ● Address prerequisite skills (Matching, color/letter/number recognition, sequencing) through song. ● Use letters, numbers colors (use stickers on the keys...word of caution...this is a last resort) ● Use a dry erase marker on the keys and fade prompts. ● Color Play ● Piano cards ● Stair step visual ● Use/write songs to teach concepts (there’s that skill set!)
