• 13 hydro schemes in Yorkshire area currently ongoing • Changes to Feed In Tariff; further reduction prompting a height of activity • Limited amount of suitable assets that are viable: Flow and head height v Access, connection to grid, heritage etc.

• Developer UK Hydro, Planning and EA licence consented • Issues - CRT only own half weir, limited access rights to 2018 • Construction due to commence Summer 2015

• Developer UK Hydro • EA application submitted however, Issue with pollution dilution and depleted reach • Looking at other options rather than Fishponds weir

• Developer Yorkshire Hydro • EA licence consent • Failed planning due to flood risk and visible appearance. Have now reached agreement with EA on how to overcome the flood risk

• Developer UK Hydro • Planning and EA consents, awaiting FPP approval • 3 turbines generating 450kw

• Existing hydro scheme, not on C&RT land • Developer wishes to add another screw and canoe slalom course • EA licence variation submitted

• Developer UK Hydro • Planning and EA licence consent • One Archimedean screw generating100kw • Construction due to commence Summer 2015

• Developer Barn Energy • Kaplan turbine, generating 500kw • Mainly on Wakefield Council land, long access track • EA and Planning consented • Due to start construction Summer 2015

• 50/50 with Greene King (Ship Inn) • Got planning permission awaiting EA consent, due end of May • Small scheme (100kw) but relatively easy build • Due to start construction Autumn 2015

• Started Construction February • Due to complete 11 th September 2015 • Generation approx. 280kw

• Following sites are currently at Pre-app stage, planning & EA: • Horbury Junction, River Calder, 100kw • Knottingley, River Aire, 500kw • Rotherham Weir, River Don, 220kw
