Section 3.2 of the NEC works information The ECSA registered engineer responsible for reviewing the design, will review Section 3.2.1 of the NEC works information. The registered engineer will review the assumptions made by the employer and add additional assumptions where necessary and apply the necessary engineering principles to ensure the design is suitable for the application and ensuring that in the event of a failure, the installed fan guards will prevent a fan blade from falling down to 0m level or fail itself and fall. 12
