Conclusions • Combining Cohorts across Groups 3 (DLP but Never and ELL ) and Combining Cohorts across Groups 4 (Not in the DLP and Never an ELL) • There were two significant differences favoring students in the Dual Language Program, one in reading and one in mathematics • In the 30 significance tests ran two (7%) revealed a significant difference between groups 3 and 4, favoring Group 3 while (93%) revealed no significant difference between groups in reading, math and science scores on the Iowa Assessments.
