Fee Reductions Fee Reduction Information • The Department of Parks and Program Registrations Total Amount Recreation (DPR) Fee Reduction Policy provides Enjoy 2,968 $151,003 discounts based on the HUD Arlington Section 8 Income limits. 19 $546 55+ • 25%, 50%, 75% fee reductions are offered. Private Swim 45 $6,097 • In FY 2017 DPR began providing fee reductions to 14 $3,462 AAC private swim participants under the age of 18. Proposed Changes for APS Pools Funding • Increase to existing transfer ($109,527) in addition to existing transfer of $286,988, for a total of $396,515. • New “Pool Use Fee” expected to generate $130,000 to $150,000 • Applies to all aquatics classes, private swim lessons, Arlington Aquatic Club and Masters.   8. Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center • Site work has begun on the Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center site. • Includes 50-meter pool, leisure pool, 1,3,& 5-meter diving. • Other building amenities • 8,000 sf. Fitness Center • 3 Community Rooms • 2 Wet Classrooms 8

Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center • The Long Bridge Fees Working Group (FWG) was appointed by the Long Bridge Park Advisory Committee (LBPAC) in April 2018. • The FWG met held five public meetings, and presented a recommended fee package to the County Board in March. • All FWG presentations and documents can be found on the FWG Webpage. • Parks.arlingtonva.us Search: Long Bridge Fees Working Group 9
