Pack lunch needed on Day 1 - disposable, no fizzy drinks • Departure time on Day 1 – arrive at the hall 8:40 wave off 9:30am • Group 2 are leaving at 9.00am so must be in by 8.30am. Behaviour • Sickness • Cameras - children’s responsibility • No electrical items • Diary - children will need a notebook and pencil case • Daily contact with the school • Group leaders will be in daily contact with the school who will post updates • each day on the school website. Children will not be permitted to telephone home. Should the need arise to contact us, please telephone the school office.
Suggested Kit List: A bag/case to fit all of the below in! Day Bag Wash bag Towel Plastic bottle for drinks 2 pairs of trainers (one pair may well get muddy) Socks Nightwear Underwear T-shirts 2 x jumpers/fleeces 2 x Comfortable trousers Waterproof jacket Wooly hat and gloves/scarf Plastic bags/bin liners for dirty washing Lip protection, e.g. Vaseline Notepad and pen/pencil Camera (optional)
Chartis Insurance (West Sussex) First Aiders All medication to be given to their group leader on the morning of departure. Must have clearly labelled instructions and child’s name. 2 inhalers required; 1 for child to keep and the other for the group leader. Travel sickness – take tablet before we leave. Give a tablet to group leader for return journey.
