It harms our community and is treated on a par with racist comments.” • Personal… “You’ve used homophobic language which I find personally offensive, would you use racist language too?”

Actions Actions in sc in schoo hool • Raise the profile of the need and statutory demands to tackle LGBTQ+ phobic language and attitudes • Combat intolerance based on ignorance by increasing content within the PSHEe curriculum to educate all year groups with regard to LGBTQ+ prejudices and discrimination • Communicate with pupils via Year Group Assemblies the positive action in school and avenues to seek help and advice ( confidential signposting ) • Provide staff with the knowledge and confidence to tackle issues from in a community standpoint within our Catholic College
