RESUL RESULTS TS • 29% of Aucklanders aware of the plan (Dec 17) • 8 million digital advertising impressions resulted in over 38,500 visits to our master plan microsite • Of these, 35,919 were unique visits • Facebook and Instagram posts reached 245,759 people • Over 70,000 people visited SeePort, which included a large master plan display Ports of Auckland no. 4

  5. PUBLIC RESPONSE PUBLIC RESPONSE Despite a good level of awareness, we got very few responses, which is disappointing: - 265 responses to our microsite survey - 0.03% of Facebook users (547 people) reacted to our posts Ports of Auckland no. 5

Demolish Shed 51 and part of Bledisloe B1 Wharf – early 2020 3. Engineering workshop – planning approx 2020, construction 2021/22 4. Relocate ships from Captain Cook to Bledisloe North – approx 2021 5. 6. Construct roof top park on car building - After Bledisloe North Deepen channel – dependent on shipping needs 7. Remove Marsden and deepen Cook/Bledisloe Basin – after 2022 8. 9. New port office: after 2022 10. ‘Hotel’ – within 5 – 10 years. Ports of Auckland no. 7

  8. BER BERTH SP TH SPACE CE We also have a critical shortage of berth space. This has led to the cancellation of the Queen Mary 2 and freight ships queuing. Ports of Auckland no. 8

  9. NEXT STEPS NEXT STEPS Public response has been broadly supportive. We will continue to work with Council to ensure that our proposals integrate with Council plans and support Council objectives for future development. This is just the start of the conversation. We will continue to work with Council and other stakeholders in an open and transparent way. Ports of Auckland no. 9
