CORE • (Connect, Organize, Reflect, and Engage) - allows students to get involved on campus and connect with any co-curricular that is at SRU. The CORQ app allows students, faculty and staff to access CORE on their mobile devices.
D2L • (Desire2Learn) - an academic portal that professors/academic departments use to give online information to students. Professors may post the course syllabus, assignments, additional readings, host online discussions, or ask that work be submitted through this portal.
• works as a dollar for dollar exchange at all of SRU’s dining facilities. Flex funds are subtracted from your account as they are used and are valid for the entire semester (reset each semester). Any remaining balance at the end of the fall semester will roll over to the spring semester. Any balance at the end of the spring semester is then lost. Flex Fund
GET App • allows students to manage their Flex Fund through their personal devices. They can deposit or spend Flex immediately, view their balance and translation history, and find places to eat along with the hours of operation. Photos for your ID Card should be submitted to this app by August 1st.
Handshake • an online platform that connects students with employers. This resource connects students to hundreds of participating employers on and off campus.
• This progress report itemizes every class needed, every class taken, and grade received. The green check indicates My Rock Audit completed areas. The red X shows areas not completed and the classes needed to meet that requirement.
MySRU Portal • Accessed by clicking the MySRU icon on the SRU homepage and logging in with your SRU username and password. This portal is used for class registration, financial aid, finding your class schedule, dropping/adding courses, accessing Desire2Learn, midterm and final grades, unofficial academic transcripts, online tuition bill, and other important info.
MyResnet • The campus internet provider. Residential students can access wireless services using MyResNet by registering their devices online.
SGA • The Slippery Rock University Student Government Association, Inc. is an independent corporation on campus with a roughly two-million-dollar budget. They serve as the governing body to most of the over 180 clubs and organizations at Slippery Rock. Every student who attends SRU is a member of the Student Government Association. Each student pays a student life fee each semester, which provides programming opportunities and helps fund SGA.
