Digital Champions We have trained over 1000 people in the community to be Digital Champions and Motivation Digital Health Champions. Digital Champions help people to understand how digital can help them and encourage them to take their steps with digital in the way that will most benefit them. Anyone can be a Digital Champion – it’s about being friendly, supportive, and encouraging, not being a computer expert. #LeedsOPWD @leedslibraries @TTSLeeds @AgeUKLeeds

Our Vision Our Vision Older people in Leeds need not experience loneliness and isolation as an inevitable consequence of ageing but that our project will offer opportunities for fulfilment by breaking down barriers and building strong communities
Ageing Better Our Vision Ageing Better is a large - scale programme funded by The National Lottery Community Fund Aims to support people aged over 50 who are experiencing or at risk of social isolation ● and loneliness, so that they can lead more fulfilling lives, better connected to their communities. 14 local partnerships will work to ensure that people aged 50 and over are: ● less isolated and lonely a. actively involved in their communities, with their views and participation valued b. more highly more engaged in the design and delivery of services that improve their social c. connections recognised for their positive contribution to society. d.
