Detailed Planning Areas • High-level scan to identify clusters (DPAs) that may undergo significant land use change • Identifying a DPA does NOT indicate that it should be developed – that will be tested as part of the next phase • Uses market, entitlement, or policy factors and assumes the new facility is constructed • Primarily identifies non-residential land uses, though Future Land Use Plans were examined for residential areas • DPAs will receive additional, more detailed assessment and planning attention as part of this study October 23, 2014 LAND USE COMMITTEE 17
