  32. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT May is a month filled with holidays and special events. May Day, Cinco de Mayo, the Kentucky Derby, Mother’s Day, Armed Forces Day, the Indianapolis 500 and Memorial Day all have their very own day. As you are no doubt aware, May is also International Internal Audit Awareness Month . This PSA is simply a courtesy reminder that it is not too early to begin shopping for a greeting card for your favorite auditor. Occasionally the local card shop owners fail to order enough Internal Audit Awareness Month cards to meet the overwhelming demand. So, you are advised to plan ahead, and avoid those long lines of last minute shoppers.
