CCPS & Full-time College Waiver CSM • Eligible students who have met all other graduation requirements attend college full-time during their senior year • Take two semesters of CSM English and earn English IV high school credit
CCPS & College Prep Algebra CSM • Semester course that assists CCPS students with the transition to college level mathematics • Placement into Math 1080 if an A or B is earned • Accuplacer administered again to determine if placement beyond Math 1080 is warranted
CCPS & College Prep English CSM • Semester course that assists CCPS students with the transition into college level English • Placement into English 1010: earn an A, B, or C and pass the CSM essay • Teacher training and collaborative scoring using CSM writing rubric

CCPS & Talent Search CSM • A federally funded program through the U.S. Department of Education servicing 874 participants in Charles County • Assists individuals ages 11-27 from ALL backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education • Provides first-generation, low-income participants with the support needed to complete high school and to be successful in achieving college goals

CCPS & College Fair Workshops CSM • Director of Financial Aid for CSM conducts two evening financial aid workshops for CCPS parents • The CSM Financial Aid Office conducts Financial Aid Nights during December at all seven CCPS high schools • FAFSA and the Scholarship Application Process are addressed with CCPS parents
CCPS & College Week CSM • CSM provides admissions information for students to CCPS school counselors • Counselors schedule 5 th and 8 th grade tours of CSM during College Week
