TK-06 Hønefoss ● Complete rebuild of Hønefoss railway station with surrounding areas ● Train parking for 8 x 220 m trains ● New railroad from Prestmoen to Hønefoss station and Ve (3 km) ● Railway technique (excl. signal) at the station and the surrounding areas ● New E16 Highway from Prestmoen to Ve (3 km) including two intersections ● More than 25 constructions incl. bridges and concrete tunnels of variable sizes ● 2 million m³ of masses from the tunnelling are expected to be used ● Logistically challenging enterprise with continuous rail and road traffic on existing lines and roads through the entire construction period ● Large areas are covered by marine deposits including quick clay, of various depths.
