UNM Gallup: Facility Repair and Renewal CA CAMPUS S STEW TEWARDSHIP, PROTECT CTION & & STU TUDE DENT SU SUCC CCESS SS: • Upgrading the interior lighting with low maintenance and energy efficient LED’s will produce significant savings, in utility costs, as well as maintenance costs over the life of the fixtures. • Adding fire sprinkler systems to the Construction Tech Building and Health Careers will increase life safety as well add asset protection • Repairing and renewing the various parking lots will help ensure that these assets last as long as possible and avoid costly replacement. • Replacing the aging elevator will help offset the rising repair and maintenance costs as well as increase reliability. 2
