Theme Analysis Sometimes people forget to close the tap and that results in more wastage of water. As water is a precious resource, one can create and design a water tap that saves water and controls unnecessary wastage of water. Users have the most influence at the household level and can experiment with strategies to develop water saving habits to implement outside of the home. Household water use is a testing ground for creating the strategies and social behaviors necessary for water use reduction outside.
Analysis(contd.) The water we use for our personal hygiene and for various domestic requirements must be in reasonable quantities according to requirement. Using too much water for our shower or while brushing our teeth can be avoided. Taps must be closed when we are not using them. Likewise, if taps or water pipes are found to be leaking, we must repair them right away. Concept Sketch
Objective ▸ This design will optimize the use of water and thus will help in saving water. It will also make a person conscious as the monitor screen will show the amount of water used. ▸ Multi-functional tap for different purposes . ▸ It is aesthetic in design, safe to use and will be of low cost. ▸ To make everyone conscious about the depletion of precious natural resources. ▸ In the model, base will be made up of plastic and top will be made up of stainless steel. It will not rust and thus will increase the life span of the product. ▸ Dimensions will be as follows: Height->152 cm Bottom radius -> 43 cm Material used - Stain less steel and rubber spray

Proposed Design Water & Soap Button There LCD Screen & Vibratory Beep Rotatable Dial: are two buttons on the tap which There is a LCD screen on top which tell the This features will limit the water flow when pressed will release water and time duration till which the water is going according to the average usage of Foaming soap.
