STEEL WORKS Vessel’s Conversion from Motor Tanker to Bulk Carrier ➢ Dismantling and removal of all the old piping systems, manifold, gangways and various fittings. ➢ Prefabrication of new stiffeners, brackets with all the necessary components and fittings.

STEEL WORKS Vessel’s Conversion from Motor Tanker to Bulk Carrier ➢ Construction of new hatch coamings and C.H. hatch covers with all the necessary components and fittings.

Replacement of Bottom Side Shell (STBD) ➢ Cutting and removal of the damaged side shell plates, stiffeners and brackets.

Replacement of Bottom Side Shell (STBD) ➢ Prefabrication and construction of the new stiffeners, brackets and side shell section.

Replacement of Bottom Side Shell (STBD) ➢ Erection and installation of the side shell section. ➢ All the above steel works that were carried out for the vessel’s bottom side shell replacement were estimated about 330 tons.

Construction of Bulbous Bow ➢ Construction of vessel’s Bulbous bow. ➢ The steel works were estimated about 27 tons. ➢ The works were carried out at Peramas Repair Zone in 2006.

Bulk Carrier’s Tank Top plating replacement ➢ Renewal of the Tank Top plating inside the vessel’s 5 Cargo Holds. ➢ The steel works were estimated about 500 tons. ➢ The works were carried out at Peramas Repair Zone in 2008.

Steel works on Offshore vessels /platforms (Contract with SAIPEM) ➢ PIPE-LAYER VESSEL – M. Deck steel plates replacement.

Pipe- layer Vessel’s M. Deck steel plates replacement (Contract with SAIPEM) ➢ Erection of scaffolding frames above the working areas for weather protection plastic cover installation.

Pipe- layer Vessel’s M. Deck steel plates replacement (Contract with SAIPEM) ➢ Cover & protection of all electrical cables, electrical equipment and pipe insulations with ceramic wool blankets, insulation glass-fiber sheets and galv. steel plates below the M. Deck, in order to protect them during the Hot Works.

Pipe- layer Vessel’s M. Deck steel plates replacement (Contract with SAIPEM) ➢ Cutting /removal of the corroded plates & longitudinal stiffeners. ➢ Fitting /welding of the new longitudinal stiffeners.

Piping Works – Piping Renewals

Replacement of Ballast pipes inside PP/R ➢ Prefabrication of seven (7) Ballast pipes DN 500A in our Workshop. ➢ Removal of the old corroded ballast pipes on board the vessel and installation of the new ones within 48 hours.
