CSCE Grid Computing Projects • New Red Diamond Grid funded by NSF – 128 dual-processor nodes with 3.2GHz Xeon 64 processors, each with 4GB memory, 72GB HD, interconnected with the high-performance InfiniBand system area network. Additionally, it will have 10TB of external storage accessible via Gigabit Ethernet. We anticipate the cluster performance to exceed 1 Tflop/s. The new grid will be physically located (and air conditioned) at the University of Arkansas Computation Center. • Three Acxiom contracts - $283K – supports seven GRAs • Wal-Mart / Oracle / UA Grid Proof of Concept – Phase I will support 2? GRAs
