  24. PRE-SESSION QUESTIONS A Leader. A Keen Learner. A Friend. Integrity ● Respect ● Excellence

  25. LOWER PRIMARY Student Well-Being & Development • Clarification on informal assessments in CTP. • How does the school support pupils with dyslexia ? • What's the school’s strategy or plan to balance play/building right values vs. academic excellence? • If my child fared badly in Primary one, why not let him repeat one more year of P1? • Can students have more outdoor learning like PE classes as they are still young in developmental ages? • Why is it that for this year the school have to group P2 and P5 students together for recess? Last year’s grouping was very good. Does the school leaders really think the P5 students will really take care of the P2 students?? Please be realistic. There were so many occasions whereby my son’s recess food got knocked over by the bigger size and more rowdy P5 students. He had to queue up and buy his food all over again, and the poor child has to finish up his food due to lack of time, causing indigestion. Can you all please look into this grouping? A Leader. A Keen Learner. A Friend. Integrity ● Respect ● Excellence

  26. LOWER PRIMARY CCA & Holistic Curriculum • Should student be keen to explore more CCA, will the school consider more than 2 CCAs? • Enrichment in school • How are students selected for enrichment and remediation? Which term will these commence? • Can school look into establishing the Civil Defence junior Lion hearters programme? • For the badminton program, why can’t the primary school take it up as a CCA? Currently, it is outsourced to a third party vendor and parents have to pay monthly fee to the vendor. There is no school teachers to supervise the discipline of the children, leaving the discipline to the coaches instead. All the students are grouped together and there were occasions where my son got intimidated by other upper primary students. A Leader. A Keen Learner. A Friend. Integrity ● Respect ● Excellence

  27. LOWER PRIMARY Home-School Promotion Criteria Student Development Partnership • • • Can there be more What is the criteria for Will there be any big changes from P1 to P2? meet-the-parents class allocation? Will the children be taught by the same session with school teachers? Will the school be using textbooks to leaders? teach the child or just using the workbooks? Are there new programmes for children to enjoy different languages to give them more passion in accepting them? A Leader. A Keen Learner. A Friend. Integrity ● Respect ● Excellence
