THE PROPOSED ARTWORK WILL BE CREATED USING ,25-INCH ,#316 STAINLESS STEEL IT WILL BE A VERTICAL SCULPTURE OF AN ICE HOCKEY PLAYER 13`6” FE ET IN HEIGHT BY 6-FEET IN DIAMETER IN A MIRROR FINISH THE ARTWORK WILL BE MOUNTED ON 12-INCH- HIGH BY 86” X 76” STAINLE SS STEEL, SLIGHTLY SLOPED PEDESTAL THE STRUCTURE WILL BE MOUNTED ON 7 `X 10`X12` CONCRETE BASE WITH STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE AND ANCHOR BOLTS THE SCULPTURE WITH CONCRETE BASE AND STAINLESS-STEEL PEDESTAL WI LL BE 21` 6” HIGH. THE HEIGHT OF THE CONCRETE PEDESTAL HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO BE IN PROPORTION TO THE SIZE OF THE SCULPTURE, ITS LOCATION AND TO ACCOMMODATE HEALTH AND SAFETY CONCERNS - TO PREVENT AND DETER ANYONE FROM CLIMBING ON THE SCULPTURE THE ARTWORK WILL BE LOCATED ON THE SOUTH EAST SIDE OF THE HERTZ ARENA BUILDING (CORNER OF BUILDING) WHICH IS THE CURRENT LOCATION OF THE YELLOW HERTZ CORVETTE THE LOCATION IS BETWEEN THE SOUTH AND EAST MAIN ENTRY TO THE ARENA AND WILL PROVIDE MAXIMUM VISIBILITY FOR VISITORS AND VEHICLES TRAVELING ALONG I-75 LIGHTING: THE ART PIECE WILL BE ILLUMINATED FROM DUSK UNTIL DAWN WITH FOUR LED GROUND-MOUNTED LIGHTS, PLACED AT THE BASE OF THE ART PIECE MAINTENANCE: THE ART PIECE WILL BE MAINTAINED WITH PERIODIC CLEANING USING MIXTURE OF MILD ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY DETERGENT AND WATER A THIN COAT OF “SHEILA SHINE” WILL BE APPLIED YEARLY OR WHEN REQ UIRED

In my pieces, people see the image and that image brings them to the reflection of a memory. Some pieces create an image of history seen through a contemporary lens.
