A new structure for the Home Affairs funding Internal Security Fund (ISF) 3,764 M€ Asylum and Migration Police cooperation, Fund preventing and (AMF) Borders and visa combating crime, and 2,760 M€ 3,137 M€ crisis management 1,004 M€ Common regulatory framework (principles of assistance, programming & reporting, financial management & controls, monitoring & evaluation)

Eligible Actions (in Member States) - joint investigation teams and any other form of cross-border joint operation, the access to and exchange of information and interoperable technologies - projects promoting public-private partnerships, identification, exchange and dissemination of know-how, experience and good practices , information sharing, - analytical, monitoring and evaluation activities, including studies and threat, risk and impact assessments , - awareness raising , dissemination and communication activities; - acquisition, maintenance, upgrading of Union IT systems including testing compatibility of systems, secure facilities, infrastructures, related buildings and systems, especially ICT systems and their components - exchange, training and education of staff and experts of relevant authorities - measures deploying, transferring, testing and validating new methodology or technology
Main features – ISF Police - Introduction of shared management (previously only direct management ISEC- CIPS) - Objectives defined in line with the Internal Security Strategy - Allocation of funds to Member States based on the main goods to be protected (population, territory, passengers, cargo) - List of eligible actions extended to new actions such as the acquisition of equipment (e.g. PNR) or testing and validating of new technology - Increased technical assistance - Emergency actions - Support to actions in third countries to further EU interests
