Why an honors college? Allows us to develop TAP with UCLA and TAG with UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, UC Riverside, and UC Merced.

Potentially increases our student success with regards to certificate completion, degree completion, and transfer rates.

Potentially increases our student success with regards to certificate completion, degree completion, and transfer rates. Allows us to address issues of equity. The demographic make-up of our students that transfer to the UC do not represent the demographic make-up of our population.
Why a FS Subcommittee and what would it do? Committee will help to shape the direction and vision of an honors program. Comprised of faculty creating and teaching honors sections. Allows faculty involved in the honors college to receive service credit for their labor.
