How many quantitative courses? • Minimum of 50% of the credits of Master’s program overall are quantitative courses • Minimum of 22 ECTS credits of quantitative courses on average during each QTEM exchange • Quantitative course are those «highly quantitative» or «semi-quantitative» in the QTEM course database • No more courses than in the «regular» program • www.qtem.org www.unil.ch/hec/exchange/qtem

QTEM: Selecting your analytical courses • All courses accessible to QTEM incoming students are available on the QTEM website • Courses can be easily filtered by University, Module, Semester and Academic Year Reminder of the rules can be founded here • Each course has a quantitative rating: “highly quantitative” or “semi - quantitative” or “non quantitative” • Quantitative courses are those rated “highly quantitative” or “semi - quantitative” • Each course is assigned to at least one module www.unil.ch/hec/exchange/qtem

Internship: short or long • Short-term internship - Track A or Track C • minimum 300 hours (2 months); full-time equivalent • must be related to a quantitative topic and have a significant quantitative content • home or abroad • Long-term internship - Track B • minimum 600 hours (4 months); full-time equivalent • the minimum duration can be achieved through two internships • must be related to a quantitative topic and have a significant quantitative content • abroad www.unil.ch/hec/exchange/qtem

  19. How to apply to the QTEM program ? 1. The QTEM application form 2. A cover letter (max. 2 pages) 3. A detailed and precise plan of the study program, one for each chosen destination 4. A detailed curriculum vitae 5. Copies of all university results obtained 6. Copies of all university certificates obtained 7. GMAT score of 650 (recommended) or 600 (mandatory) or GRE results 8. Proof of proficiency in English if available (not required) 9. Any relevant document => submit your application to the HEC Student exchange office by the deadline www.unil.ch/hec/exchange/qtem

  20. Financial supports for an exchange • Reduced UNIL semester fee of CHF 180.- per semester instead of CHF 580.- • No registration fee at the partner university • Grants: – SEMP (Swiss-European Mobility Program, ex-Erasmus): CHF 1600.- per semester – HEC Faculty: CHF 2500.- per semester • Possible complements for students facing financial difficulties (information at the SASME) www.unil.ch/hec/exchange/qtem
