GUYANA EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRIES TRANSPARENCY INITIATIVE GYEITI GUYANA Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative • EITI is a global standard to promote open and accountable management of natural resources through strengthened government and company systems related to the extractive sector and the publication of oil, gas, and mining information. • The EITI Standard requires countries to disclose information at each step of the Natural Resource Value Chain . • Main output: Publishing and widely disseminating an annual EITI Report in which governments disclose how much they receive from extractive companies and these companies disclose how much they pay .
