  3. Grace us with Your Wisdom and Vision; gifu us with Holy Humor and Humility so that not only this meeting but all our lives may be a meeting place for your Kingdom. We ask this † in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen !

  4. CCHS GRADUATION: OUR GIFT TO OUR STUDENTS May 8 Mass – Enmax 7:00 p.m. May 9 Convocation Ceremonies – Enmax 9:00 a.m. May 9 Banquet, Grand March, Dance - Enmax Doors open 5:15 p.m. Banquet speeches 5:30 p.m. Dinner 6:00 p.m. Grand March 7:30 p.m. Dance 8:30 p.m.

To remain on the list GRAD POLICY of graduates of CCHS a student must have the following: • Be eligible to complete 100 credits by the end of Quarter 4 • Attained 90 credits by the end of Quarter 3 • Have successfully completed RS 35 including the Faith in Action (40 hours) component • OR, Have a specialized program as part of an ISP.

GRAD FEES & COST Grad fees - $150 Included in this fee are: - all events (rental, production, mass, cap & gown, grand march) - cap & gown rental (gown must be returned) - sitting fees at Lifetouch - individual graduate ceremony picture and group class of 2019 photo from Lifetouch Must be paid by March 20, 2020

Additional grad costs include: - Grad hoodies $45 - Grad rings by Jostens – prices vary - they usually set up at the school during flex - Banquet tickets $35 each (purchase online at a later date in April) - Grad photos purchased from Lifetouch proofs (varies depending on your choice) - Grad USB $20 - this is video footage that covers the convocation, banquet, grand march, and dance.

  8. Staff are on hand to take payments • tonight: cash OR cheque. Anyone who wishes to use credit or debit • must do so via School Cash Online. Please remember to indicate your child’s • height when you go in to pay grad fees as this is what we use to purchase the right size of gown for him/her. Payment plans can be set up for grad fees also if you are unable to pay the full $150 up front. Please call the school to make arrangements. Reminder: ALL school fees must be paid upon payment of grad fees.

  10. GRADUATION USB USBs of the Convocation, the Banquet speeches and the Grand March will be available for pre-sale at either office (Campus East or Campus West) beginning on April 20, 2020. They will also be available for purchase before and afuer Convocation on Saturday at the Enmax and during the banquet at the Enmax. We will take orders until May 15, 2020.

  11. GRADUATION SCHEDULE Graduation Retreat - Campus West - March 20 from 8:00-12:00 noon. No classes for grade 12s on this day. REGULAR CLASSES until Friday, May 8 Friday, May 8, ALL GRADS must attend grad rehearsal and updates at 8:00 AM on Campus WEST. Grad gown pickup following practice on Friday at Campus West. The group grad photo is taken at this time 10:00 AM Speakers for Mass, Convocation Ceremonies, and Banquet go to the Enmax to practice with the microphone.

  12. GRADUATION MASS Friday, May 8, 7:00 PM at the Enmax Centre Grads arrive at 6:15 p.m. through the Player’s Entrance (West side entrance) and line up alphabetically in the lower concourse. Only grads will be allowed in the lower concourse. Grads wear their gowns, but no caps. Appropriate attire. Cell phones should be lefu with a parent. No gum. Mass includes the grad candle lighting ceremony.

  14. GRADUATION CEREMONIES Saturday, May 9, 9:00 AM at Enmax Grads arrive at 8:15 AM and line up alphabetically in the lower concourse. Only grads will be allowed on the floor and in the lower concourse. Parents, guardians, and guests are welcome to take a seat in the lower and upper bowls. Grads will need their gowns and caps. Suggestions: Boys – white shirt and tie; girls – v-neck t-shirt. Grads should write their names in their caps – they keep these. Again, no cell phones or chewing gum.

  15. THE CONCLUSION OF THE CEREMONIES… The hat toss…… Gown Return – At the Enmax in the lower concourse. Please note: Students who do NOT return gowns will be responsible for the replacement cost of the gown ($109 + tax)

  16.   19. Tickets • Tickets are $35 each. Students may purchase as many tickets as they want. • Grad need to purchase a ticket It is fire regulation to have everyone at the dinner occupy a chair (even babies in car seats) .

  24. GRAND MARCH AND DANCE Purpose: to celebrate the graduating class as a community of CCHS. Professional photos will be taken of the grand march. Grand March will begin about 7:30/ 7:45 p.m. Only graduates and staff will be on the floor during the Grand March. Please cooperate with CCH staff to ensure this event is a pleasant experience for all. There will be two formal grad-parent or grad-guardian dance before a grad-friend dance before the rest of the dance!

  25. ABOUT THE BANQUET – SCHOOL EVENT This is a school event; students/patrons under the • influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave. Students who appear to be under the influence of • alcohol or drugs prior to or during the Grand March will be asked to leave. There will be disciplinary action. The consumption of alcohol in the parking lot, in private • vehicles, or during the viewing of the Grand March is prohibited. We have requested assistance from the Lethbridge • Police Service to ensure this event remains safe and pleasant for all. CCH Staff and the name of the school has ZERO • affiliation with Safe Grad. As such, any paraphernalia related to Safe Grad (t-shirts) should not have any CCH logos on it or our name.

  26. PARENTS CAN HELP … Ensure your child attends the Friday practices – preferably awake and aware. Assist your child in keeping his/her gown, stole, hat, pin, and tassel together. Ensure your child arrives on time for all events. Assist your child in integrating grad celebrations with school attendance. Treat all the rental facilities with respect. Clean up afuer yourselves.
