I l ♦ ECCC-TC7 / ECCC-FC1 (Unresolved) Sampling at Station SNP0053-5a ECCC recommends that sampling at station SNP0053-5a be conducted after major rain events and at a minimum, monthly, during periods of flow. Any sampling conducted at SNP0053-5a after a major rain event could also satisfy the monthly sampling requirement. Canad a Environment and Environnement et Climate Change Canada Changement climatique Canada
l ♦ I ECCC-TC8 / ECCC-FC2 (Path Forward Proposed) Monitoring Fire Related Contaminants ECCC agrees with the Proponent’s suggestion to keep the monitoring of contaminants that could have been mobilized by the fire separate from the WL parameters. This could be accomplished by including a separate (limited) SNP licence condition, as changing this does not require a hearing process. Canad a Environment and Environnement et Climate Change Canada Changement climatique Canada
l ♦ I ECCC-FC4 (Substantially Resolved) Groundwater Monitoring Wells ECCC recommends that the Proponent provide an update regarding when a second background monitoring well and two down-gradient monitoring wells would be added to the SWDF groundwater monitoring network (as recommended by the Groundwater Monitoring Review Proposal (Beckingham Environmental Ltd.; January 2020) Canad a Environment and Environnement et Climate Change Canada Changement climatique Canada
l ♦ I ECCC-FC5 (Path Forward Proposed) Dissolved Metal Analysis for the Groundwater Monitoring Program ECCC recommends that the full range of dissolved metals be monitored and reported in the Groundwater Monitoring Program for the duration of the water licence.
