MUSEUM FOR COMMUNICATION An exclusive and multifunctional location The Museum for Communication Berlin unites the past, present and future under one roof. Its permanent exhibition offers vivid insights into the origins, development and future of the information society. A series of attractive temporary exhibitions showcases the many different aspects of communication. The heart of the building is the light-flooded central atrium surrounded by a series of galleries. At night, light is emitted through the atrium roof so that the museum resembles a blue crystal – creating a fascinating landmark in Berlin’s cityscape. The museum’s Treasure Chamber displays a collection of valuable rarities, including the famous Blue and Red Mauritius. This website also contains details on the museum’s history and architecture. The historic architecture and magnificent atrium offer a unique setting for evening gala dinners, receptions and concerts, lectures, conferences and press conferences Foto: Herbert Schlemmer
