Meeting Purpose Present, discuss and receive public comments on the proposed reconstruction and widening of approximately 3 miles of FM 1187 from Chisholm Trail Parkway to McCart Avenue/BF 1187C. The proposed improvements would reconstruct and widen FM 1187 from an existing two-lane roadway with center turn-lane to a four-lane roadway with a curbed center median. Improving Connectivity & Regional Mobility Construction of this project and a separate project from McCart Avenue to 35W would provide a complete connection between two major freeways. The segment between Chisholm Trail Parkway and 35W would be a four lane, divided roadway with select grade separated intersections. Key Factors Being Evaluated Input highlights over 4,000 responses from all over the county 2,300 from mckinney No impacts to Section 4(f) and/or Parks and Wildlife Code, Chapter 26 Resources have been identified.
