Flu an and C COVID-19 V Vacci ccine There will be 4 categories of Federally supplied flu and pandemic vaccine for this year: • VFC - 340,000 flu doses available to order by VFC providers • VFA - limited flu supply through county health depts • New CDC Supplemental Flu - 100,000 unrestricted doses • Covid-19 – limited doses for tier 1 healthcare workers expected end of 2020 beginning of 2021.

Flu Vaccine • Roll Up Your Sleeve! • VFC and supplemental doses @ 58% • Ordering opened for all • ADHS does not have flu doses or vaccinators • May have heard different in a press conference • We will have about 460,000 doses VFC, VFA, CHIP • That’s a 140,000 increase over usual seasons

Complete Inventory Reconciliation, if needed As you know: -If vaccines were wasted then we must have the form showing it was or the vaccines will be put back into your inventory -Always move the numbers over from quantity on hand to physical inventory. If the numbers are off you will use reports to find out why -It takes time for doses to decrement, if you enter a different number than what ASIIS has, it will make you pick a reason why it is off and it should never be off

COVID-19 Vaccine • Planning for first doses in early November • Tier one-likely front-line health workers/essential services • First presentation is ultra low frozen • About 6 weeks later a second presentation may be available • 20-40 Million doses expected by January • 660 Million does by June
