What is the FEVS? • Confidential government-wide survey “Measures employee’s perceptions of whether and to what extent, conditions characterizing successful organizations are present in their agencies.” April 2018 HRSA FEVS Analysis Report 3
Context • Mandated by 5 CFR Part 250, Subpart C (effective 2007) • Administered by Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to all full- time permanent federal employees employed by their agencies prior to November of the previous year April 2018 HRSA FEVS Analysis Report 4
How are Results Used? • Partnership for Public Service determines their highly visible list of “Best Places to Work” in government. • Results and participation rates serve as performance indicators for Senior Leaders. • Informs improvement strategies devised and implemented by HRSA leadership, Bureau/office (B/O) leadership, and managers and staff throughout HRSA.
