Who Pays for What? Hyde Park School District Coaches, transportation, entry fees, insurance, hotel rooms for coaches/bus drivers at away races Hyde Park Rowing Association Boathouse Lease, rowing tank usage, shells, equipment, misc. parts & maintenance, scholarships Parents Boathouse fee, hotels and food for away races, uniforms Parking fee @ home races (Spring season passes available) 5

Boathouse Fee 95% of HPRA budget is funded by “boathouse fee” FDR Boathouse Fee: Novice Rowers $450 Varsity Rowers $500 Payment schedule, if preferred – installment plan with 3 payments Payment #1: $50 at parent meeting (registration fee) Payment #2: Due March 28 th Payment #3: Due April 17 th Varsity $225 per payment Novice $200 per payment Payment by check made payable to HPRA Payment placed in an envelope, can be placed in the lock box within the FDR bay at boathouse (DO NOT PUT UNSECURED CASH IN THE LOCK BOX). If leaving CASH, put in and envelope w/ rowers name and purpose of payment To minimize your out of pocket cost: Profits received from the Flower Sale and Sponsor T-Shirt will go directly to Boathouse fee. If your individual profit exceeds the cost of the Boathouse fee, it will be applied toward charges for hotels for away races DO NOT KEEP ANY OF THE MONEY FROM THE FLOWER SALE. THE PROFIT 8 WILL BE CALCULATED AFTER ALL ORDERS & MONEY HAS BEEN COLLECTED

FDR Crew’s – 1 st Annual Race to the River April 11 th , 2015 Sta rt: 9:00AM @ FDR High School (Ra in da te April 12 th ) Create Teams of 4 members with a maximum of $10/Participant as well as 10 clear 2 rowers to make the journey from FDR HS to empty bottles to be collected at the Hudson river while participating in registration on the day of the event challenges along the way Prizes will be awarded to those teams completing the Race to the River in the Each team is responsible for providing their own fastest time!!! driver who is older than 25. Hotel and Uniform Information Hotels Rowers will receive an envelope for hotel and food payments for away races . Payment is due prior to race day. In order for rowers to be in uniform for the racing season ALL orders must be made on team store by midnight, March 3 (orders placed after March 3 will be treated as individual orders and not guaranteed to arrive before the first race). 13
