The Exam – B2-Level English: • A 55-minute computer-based exam • There are different parts to the exam: o Listening comprehension o Use of English (grammar structures, lexis, etc) o Reading comprehension – 3 parts  True or False  Multiple choice  8-10 statements, select 4 which are correct • Exam sessions take place every few months (June, July and September) and the dates are available on the departmental website • Pass mark is 60% • Only Pass or Fail

Now choose 6 questions from the Q&A reading and ask the person next to you.

  25. Reading: Following Instructions You will need a sheet of horizontal blank paper. Follow the instructions: 1. At the top of the page, write the title «My Fantastic Drawing» and underline it. 2. At the bottom of the page, in the centre, draw a rectangle approximately 5cm across and 2cm deep. 3. Inside the rectangle draw two trees and three flowers. 4. Halfway down the left-hand side of the page draw a clock face. 5. Under the clock write your name in italics. 6. On the opposite side of the page to the clock draw three squares in a vertical row. Each square should be approximately 4cm across. 7. Inside the middle square write the letter ‘ A ’ . 8. In the very centre of the page draw a life-size mobile phone. 9. On the mobile phone screen write the name of your favourite place. 10.Above the mobile phone draw a small triangle and colour it in. 11.Midway between the mobile phone and the squares draw a sun. 12.In the bottom left-hand corner write the capital city of the USA.
