RIDE TO LIVE PROGRAM The program’s goal is to provide motorcycle operators with the skills to avoid or minimize collisions while enjoying their ride. The course, taught by certified motor officers, focuses on the same riding techniques used by police motor officers every day. The class is 7 hours of “hands - on” motorcycle training, presented in one day, with lunch provided. What you will learn: 1. Proper use of the clutch and throttle “friction zone” 2. Proper head and eye placement during turning maneuvers 3. Low-speed maneuvering, balance, and control 4. Emergency braking 5. Collision avoidance skills 6.
