5 Aegon UK The Product Our induction lasts for 5 weeks and takes a blended learning approach to achieve role competency. This is broken down as follows: General Induction (8 days) Advanced Induction (2/7 days) Buddy Bay & Call Sign Offs (10/15 days)
6 Aegon UK Our journey with SCQF • Working with Aegislearn to set up relationship • Julie from SCQF Partnership ran a workshop to come in and detail benefits credit rating can bring • No other financial companies in Scotland offer a recognised induction programme • Were able to put us in contact with numerous credit rating bodies • Helped set up the relationship with Edinburgh Napier University • Have kept in touch throughout our journey towards credit rating
7 Aegon UK The Future One of the biggest issues we face when it comes to recruitment is attracting the top talent in the industry. We were a late entry to the UK Platform Market and face lots of stiff competition in and around the Edinburgh area for attracting Customer Service Representatives. On review from Napier University, our course has been credit rated at SCQF level 8. We are looking to utilise this unique selling point to show people that are interested in a career in Customer Services, that Aegon are willing to invest in the appropriate levels of training to strive to become the number one service provider in the market.
