MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ➢ Business Experience ✓ Minimum of 5 consecutive years in the last 10 years ✓ C-11 Electrical license minimum of 3 consecutive years within the last 5 years. ▪ No unresolved complaints within the past 3 years ▪ Submit a copy of the license ✓ Executive Summary – ▪ Not to exceed 2 pages (double-sided) ▪ Description of how the company meets the minimum requirements. SCOPE OF WORK OVERVIEW ➢ Typical Services – ▪ General Electrical Services ▪ Service entrance and general electrical preventative maintenance ▪ Replacement of electrical wire and conduit due to wire theft/vandalism ➢ Applicable Laws and Standards – ▪ All federal, state and local applicable laws, standards and regulations. ▪ Aviation Department guidelines as they pertain to insurance and security ▪ Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) ▪ National Fire Protection Association, latest edition (NFPA 70 ▪ National Electrical Code, latest edition (NEC)
SCOPE OF WORK OVERVIEW ➢ Qualified Personnel – ▪ Qualified journeymen electrician, electrician’s apprentice, or electrician’s helper. ▪ Ratio must be 2 journeymen to 1 apprentice or helper ▪ Must have completed an approved apprenticeship program or equivalent training, or have 3 years of experience as a skilled journeyman level electrician ▪ Provide certificates of completed NFPA 70E training within 30 days after contract award, ▪ Training documentation for new hires must be sent to each CDR prior to working on City projects
SCOPE OF WORK OVERVIEW Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures – ➢ ▪ Supply equipment and training for Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. ➢ Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – ▪ Ensure staff is properly trained and supplied with PPE ➢ Quotes – ▪ Provide written quotes with breakdown of: ✓ Parts ✓ Equipment ✓ Labor / Man-Hours ✓ Hourly Rates
SCOPE OF WORK OVERVIEW Response Time – ➢ ▪ Emergency Service: Upon Initial notification – ✓ Within 30 minutes by phone ✓ Onsite within 4 hours ✓ Aviation Department emergency work is 24/7/365 ▪ Non-Emergency Service: Upon Initial notification – ✓ Within 1 hour by phone ✓ Work with be coordinated with the CDR
SCOPE OF WORK OVERVIEW ➢ Labor Hours – ▪ Travel time to and from job site is NOT reimbursable ▪ Contractor must sign-in with designee of the CDR when arriving and sign-out upon completion ▪ Aviation Department work hours are 24/7/365 and scheduled to avoid impacting ongoing operations at the Airport. ➢ Pass Through Fees / Costs – ▪ Contractor must pay any fees to high pot the SES before re-energizing (800 amps or over). ▪ Specialized rental equipment • Must be pre-approved by CDR Receipts must be included with invoice
SCOPE OF WORK OVERVIEW Waste: Universal, Hazardous and Solid Waste – ➢ ▪ Contractor is responsible for handling and disposal of all waste in an appropriate manner compliant with all Federal and State environmental regulations ▪ Universal Waste: ✓ Fluorescent lamps, HID bulbs, high and low pressure sodium lamps, mercury vapor lamps and metal halide lamps ✓ Must be properly packaged by Contractor, moved to City storage area and logged onto storage log form ✓ City will arrange for recycling
SCOPE OF WORK OVERVIEW Waste: Universal, Hazardous and Solid Waste – (Continued) ➢ ▪ Hazardous Waste: ✓ Ballasts manufactured on or before July 1998 or ballasts NOT marked “NO PCB’s” ✓ Must be placed into closed top containers marked “Hazardous Waste – PCB Ballasts” and moved to the City storage area and logged onto storage log form ✓ City will arrange for hazardous waste disposal or treatment
