ECRB Core functions According to the 58 th Article of the Treaty Establishing the Energy Community, the main functions of the Regulatory Board are the following:  advise the Ministerial Council or the Permanent High Level Group on the details of statutory, technical and regulatory rules;  issue Recommendations on cross-border disputes involving two or more Regulators, upon request of any of them;  take Measures, if so empowered by the Ministerial Council 35 th ECRB Meeting, Athens, 6 th December 2016 Energy Community Regulatory Board 2 36- th ECRB Meeting, Athens, 19- th April 2017 Athens. ECRB priorities for the upcoming period  Enhance cooperation between Energy Community contracting parties;  Share the regulatory knowledge and best experiences towards a uniform ! application of the acquis communautaire;  Harmonise the regulatory rules on implementation of the Network Codes, REMIT;  Establish the regulatory duties in context of Implementation of Infrastructure Regulation 347/2013;  Issue opinions on the preliminary decisions on certification of TSOs;  Wider cooperation with the European institutions and organisations;  Fair energy transition for the Western Balkan and Eastern European countries;  End-consumer in the driving seat during the process of the market liberalisation. 35 th ECRB Meeting, Athens, 6 th December 2016 Energy Community Regulatory Board 4 Athens, December, 2017
