Guidance for Viewing Changes • To View Track Changes (details vary depending on version of Word, PC or Mac) – Select Final Showing Markup – Under Show Markup, select “use balloons to display changes” and “show comments” – Inserted text should be in a different color and deleted text struck through • To View The Original Document – Select Original – Note that you will see all original text, but in its moved positions – Tracking moves from the original document makes viewing the changes extremely messy
