Q2.6-1 Do you know measurement quality classification? • Measurement quality classification has signification for good data/information to improve the quality forecasting also for policy decision in prevention and reducing the loss of disaster. Dr. Duong van Khanh (VietNam) • I guess the measurement quality classification is categorization of stations depending on the quality of data we receive or it can be classification of quality of data we receive from observation station. However, not many people in Bhutan are fully aware of what this is. Mr. Phuntsho Namgyal (Bhutan) • We don’t have idea whether it is about upgrade of measurements or measurement accuracy. Dr. Duong van Khanh (VietNam) • Measurement quality classification can be very useful in determining the reliability of the observational data and it can also serve as motivation factor for quality observation.
