  1. Digital Presentation Grant for the Arts (DPG) by National Arts Council (NAC) Brief description Support efforts by artists and arts organisations to present their work in digital form or via digital mediums, during this COVID-19 period The grant supports the creation costs of the following types of projects in the Performing, Visual, Literary or Multi-Disciplinary art forms: Digital presentations of new or existing works / programmes Livestreaming of performances (excluding work in progress showings and rehearsals) Virtual exhibitions *Digital adaptations (e.g. interactive abstract) of an existing title or text *E-publications will be considered under National Arts Council’s Presentation & Participation (Publishing) Grant (P&P Grant) , not the DPG. P&P Grant offers subsidies for both print and digital publications, as well as for translation, marketing and publicity Refer to the DPG guidelines here for a list of digitalisation costs that are supported

  2. Funding level The grant can support up to 100% of digitalisation costs, capped at $20,000 per project There will be 3 funding tiers, based on how well the proposals fare against the assessment criteria : $5,000 Up to $10,000 Up to $20,000 Assessment Criteria Eligible applicants will be assessed according to the following criteria: (i) Strength of proposal (ii) Capacity and commitment to execute the project Projects will need to meet both criteria in order to receive DPG support Priority will be given to projects that engage practitioners who are Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents

  3. Eligibility & criteria Organisations Arts organisations that are under NAC Major Company scheme or NAC Seed Grant scheme (as of 1 April 2020) Other arts organisations which are not Major Companies or Seed Grant recipients that are either registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) or with the Registry of Societies (ROS). Organisations must show that they have organised at least 1 public arts event/programme (e.g. performance / visual arts exhibition / literary event, including publishing an NAC-supported title / programme) in the last 12 months Priority will be given to those who have been engaged in the last 12 months by the organisations listed in the DPG guidelines here

  4. Self-Employed Persons Self-employed Persons (SEPs) and sole proprietors who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents residing in Singapore and working in the local arts scene Individuals must show that they have been involved in at least 1 public arts event / programme in the last 12 months Priority will be given to those who have been engaged in the last 12 months by, (or done work for) the organisations listed in the DPG guidelines here Application process Applications will open from 14 April to 31 July 2020 (5pm) Projects should be completed by 31 December 2020 Please submit your application through FormSG

  5. Ensure that you have the necessary documents ready beforehand Refer to the DPG guidelines here for the necessary documents (section 3) It will take about 3 weeks for NAC to process your application and make its funding decision Applicants can apply for multiple projects in 1 submission But each applicant can only enter a maximum of 2 submissions within the application window of 14 April to 31 July 2020 Although you can apply for multiple projects, each applicant can only receive up to $40,000 from DPG Priority will be given to first submission of all applicants For further enquiries, email DPG@nac.gov.sg For more information, visit NAC's website here NuLife Care & Counselling Services
