Afternoon Activity Find your team after lunch (By Number) Get your packet from Jones Create your emergency disaster plan based on scenario Determine how you would communicate the plan to three different Enneagram types
Scenario 1 It’s noon on a busy day at the zoo. A passenger jet on its takeoff from the Piedmont Triad International Airport has a malfunction and the pilot is instructed to dump the plane’s fuel immediately to avoid an explosion. Because of the plane’s low altitude the fuel does not evaporate and instead falls onto the zoo grounds. The area immediately impacted is from the Garden Friends playground to the Cypress Swamp/Dragonfly Paddle Boats area.
Scenario 2 A wildfire has been burning on some acreage adjacent to the eastern edge of the zoo near the Prairie section. It didn’t seem to pose a risk to the zoo until some highly unusual gusts of March wind blew burning embers into the zoo grounds. Fires are now popping up in areas from the Streamside area to the Honey Bee Garden, animals are in a panic, and there is a group of school children trapped near the Desert viewing area.
Scenario 3 It’s an exceptionally busy day at the zoo. Reports start coming in of shots being fired near Junction Plaza and several gorillas, wolves, and other animals being shot. Some zoo visitors have also been injured as well. You learn that the shooter is the estranged spouse of a zoo employee, and he has an accomplice with him.
