Dem ementia ia F Frie iendly ly I Illi linois is: Ratio ionale le  Approximately 230,000 people in Illinois have dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease.  By 2025 the number will increase to 260,000 people.  Each person with dementia has multiple informal caregivers so another 588,000 Illinois residents are impacted by dementia due to Alzheimer’s.
