DE-Carbonise Collaboration between Derby City and Derbyshire County Councils and the University of Derby • Business audits and grant funding to support carbon reduction • Technical support for product and process improvements • Developing supply chain networks to drive carbon savings ERDF part-funded. Started in November 2019 for 3 years

DE-Carbonise grants Councils work with Derby and Derbyshire businesses. • DE-Carbonise team member site visit to carry out audit • Provide carbon reduction report with recommendations • Can provide additional consultancy • Grants of between £1,000 and £20,000 (total £920K) • Grant pays 40% of cost of works

Renewable energy Grant: £15,000 Measure: 41.25 kWp solar photovoltaic system Savings: up to £3,000 per year and 10 tonnes carbon.
Transport Proposed grant: TBC Measure: Install EV charge points and upgrade fleet to EVs Savings: over £25,704 and 43 tonnes carbon for entire fleet
