  6. Other changes Background Check Components Most background check Inspection Criteria components are now • located within the CYP Inspection Criteria. CYP Professionals is the term used to include CYP Staff, Providers, and Substitute Providers. Ex. A.4.b.1 - CYP Professional files contain health • screening documentation Some components are no longer being inspected Evacuation and Emergency Response Plans (aka MAC plans)

Overview of Inspection Criteria: Program Notes Program Notes Feature CNIC is now using the “Program Notes” feature of the Inspection • Criteria to communicate policy, reference VLS courses, and provide best practices to the field. Program Notes for C.1.b.3: FCC: VLS - MGT - PG: 2 https://www.virtuallabschool.org/management/guidance/lesson-2 The Director needs to know their process for distributing Parent Handbook to parents to ensure there is a process in place for new families to receive the Parent Handbook.
